Troop 28

Troop 28 Providence

Looking for an active troop? Come to our World's Greatest Pancake Breakfast (May 5 in 2018) or examine other events on our calendar.

We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 at Central Congregational Church on Angell Street in Providence, Rhode Island

We conduct a strong outdoors program with camping, hiking, climbing, canoeing, skiing, and whatever else looks fun.

In addition we offer a number of merit badges and skills learning sessions throughout the year. These are both at special facilities (golf course, rifle shooting range, rock climbing gym) and by expert friends who come in and teach the scouts.

We always welcome new boys. We are open, inclusive and respectful (as stated in this letter to the National BSA). The Providence Journal has written an article about scouting with kind words about our troop.

Please join us any Tuesday or contact the Troop through the email below.

Our Troop Handbook gives some idea of how we are organized and what the scout experience is like.

Our Scoutmaster is Brian Duff.
